JRock Jubilation!
It was a long build up of 14 weeks which climaxed on June 27th at 6:50pm, when 65 of St Joseph’s students, smiled their widest smiles, spread their biggest stage hands and rocked the crowd at the Aotea Centre!
The children’s performance was flawless and all those lunch time, Wednesday and Friday practices paid off. We came away with three awards: Excellence in performance skill, Excellence in drama and Excellence in costume and character.
We need to thank all those who gave up their time and skills throughout the 14 weeks. Without you it wouldn’t have been the success it was. Also, to all those parents who came and supported us on the night, your enthusiasm was contagious! Events such as these are a fantastic opportunity for children to be part of an experience that allows them to develop new skills, make new friends and build confidence within themselves.
Our pride in everything they have achieved is overwhelming!
