A Blessing for Spring
Now it is spring – Let us rejoice
Now we see blossom and flowers – Let our hearts give thanks
Now we feel the warmth of sunshine – Let our spirit be renewed
Now we hear birds full of energy – Let us share in this energy.
Now we see trees bursting with buds – Let this life burst forth in us
Now we feel the spring breeze on our face –
Let it refresh our minds and hearts
Now we hear the voice of God in the changing season –
Let us listen with openness
Let us bless this season of new life and bright colours.
Let us recognise it as a gift from our gracious God who loves us into new life
As we begin our new term may we bring the joy and enthusiasm of this spring season into the lives of those we work with and those we teach.
Blessed be the God of Spring,
