TO KNOW What Do I Know? What Do I Need to Know?
TO DO What Do I Need To Do? How Do I Do This?
TO USE How will I Use What I Am Learning? What Other Ways Can I Use It?
RAISING FUNDS FOR NEPAL As part of her Home Learning Challenge, Cassie Lam, HG1 Kakariki Team, organised a fundraiser to help the people of Nepal who are so badly affected by the recent earthquake. Over $200.00 was raised and Class Mission collections for the first few weeks this term will also go towards that appeal. The plan is to support The Himalayan Trust this time because of its links with Sir Edmund Hillary.

Comments from one of our parent coaches!
“Thought I would give you a run down of yesterday’s Rippa tournament. We had such a great day! The weather was outstanding & the children played like champions with a really great attitude & sportsmanship. They were all so well behaved & really enjoyed their day. There was great parent support & the children cheered each other on.” Adele
The Building Programme
The Cross is in place; signage will soon be up; the outside areas are being tidied up; most of the floor coverings are completed; the sunshade at the front has been completed and most of the inside joinery is now finished. Next Tuesday the teachers are going into have a look- their first since the roof shout back in January! It is an exciting time for us all!
Happy Mothers’ Day to all our wonderful mothers and grandmothers!
Gentle, Patient God
Today we thank God for the gift
of mothers and mothering
across the world.
Isaiah wrote that God is a mother
to us, comforting and carrying
us in her arms.
As one whom a mother comforts,
so I will comfort you – Isaiah 66:13.
Gentle, patient God – thank you for your tender care.
