Just a reminder to fill out your Community Engagement Survey 2020. Please complete this survey, as it is informative for the teachers and the Board, assisting in their planning for the 2021 school year. The emails with the link were sent to each parent who has their email address on our school data base. It may go to your Spam inbox. If you can’t locate it, please email principal@sj.school.nz. The survey closes on Friday, 23rd October.

PTA

As mentioned in last Friday’s Principal Message, the PTA have their AGM in the Staff Room on Thursday, 22nd October beginning at 7pm. All parents are welcome.

Labour Day

Don’t forget, there’s a long weekend ahead… Monday, 26th October, the school will be closed for Labour Day.

School Prayers Friday

We will be welcoming our new students who began at our school this term. Do join us if you can.

Hats

All students must wear their hat from Tuesday, 27th October.

Year 6 Camp Parent Information Evening

This is for all parents of Year 6 students. It will be held Tuesday, 27th October at 6pm in the Kakariki Learning Space.

Sacrament of Confirmation

This will be held Thursday, 29th October. We’ll require the students at 5:30pm prior to the Mass commencing at 6pm.

First Holy Communion

• Saturday, 31st October – 5:00pm
• Sunday, 1st November – 7:30am, 10:30am, 6:00pm
