PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Dear Parents & Whanau,
Thank you to the many grandparents who came to our Grandparents Morning on Friday.
It was a wonderful morning which saw them supporting their grandchildren and other children in the Home Groups with the Knowledge-athon.
The grandparents were then able to have morning tea with each other and the staff.
We were delighted that so many grandparents were able to attend this special occasion.
The Principal’s Message will cover the following topics:
- Knowledge-athon
- Sacramental Programme
- Cyber Safety Evening
- Teacher Only Day
- SKIDS
- PTFA Meeting Tonight
- Jump
- Grandparents Morning

NZ KNOWLEDGE-ATHON FUNDRAISER
The PTFA NZ Knowledge-Athon Fundraiser on Friday was a great success. The children all seemed to enjoy sharing the new knowledge they had gained over the holidays and participating in the quiz. Thank you to all the Whanau who helped with scribing the children’s answers throughout the morning.
Returning sponsorship funds:
Now that the Athon is over, the children will be bringing home an update for you over the coming days to let you know how many questions they got right.
If you are then able to place your child’s sponsorship form and any money raised in an envelope marked ‘ATHON’ (please note your child’s name and home group on the envelope); and then drop it into the PTFA box in the school office.
If you would prefer to deposit your child’s sponsorship funds electronically, please return your child’s named sponsorship form to the PTFA box in the office with ‘BANK TRANSFER’ marked on it and transfer funds electronically to the PTFA bank account (12 3026 0316672 00) including your child’s name, home group and “ATHON” as references.
We would ask that all funds raised are returned by Friday August 13th.
All money raised through the Athon will go towards the PTFA short, mid and longer term fundraising buckets.
Thank you so much for your support and generosity.
