PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dear Parents

What an amazing summer we have had with the wonderful weather and the freedom of life at “orange” under the Covid Protection Framework (CPF). We look forward to welcoming the students back to school on Tuesday 8th February.

As you will have heard, the Prime Minister announced that the whole of the country moved into the “red” setting of the COVID-19 Protection Framework last night, Sunday 23rd January at 11.59pm.

Schools will be open for on-site learning, for all students, under the “red” traffic light setting.

The Ministry of Education will be providing guidance for schools, following the Cabinet meeting being held tomorrow (Tuesday, 25/1). This will be the basis for our “Red Traffic Light School Plan”, which will be in place for the first part of Term 1. More information will be forthcoming.

Just a reminder that children and young people, aged 5 and over, can get a free COVID-19 vaccination. Information about the vaccination for children and young people can be found through this link.
