Dear Parents
At the end of last year, 18 December, it was announced, from Rome, that Bishop Pat Dunn was retiring and Bishop Steve Lowe was appointed as Bishop of Auckland.
Bishop Pat Dunn has been Bishop of Auckland since 1994. After 27 years of service and leadership of our Auckland Diocese we wish him a well earned retirement
Bishop Steve Lowe was Bishop of Hamilton since 2015. He is to be installed as Bishop of Auckland this coming Saturday 19 February at the Cathedral of St Patrick’s and St Joseph. GOLD COIN FOR TONGA FRIDAY!
Gold Coin for Tonga Friday
Our island neighbours need our help!
Can you do a little something extra at home in return for a GOLD coin?
Bring a gold coin next Friday
and join it with others in your HG to see how long a trail you can make.
Which Home Group will have the longest trail?
This is not a non-uniform day. Please wear your uniform.
This is our charitable gesture… doing something for someone else.
We are also looking to collect stationary items to send to the students of Tonga.
Think of not having pens, pencils, books.
You may have a new book from last year that you are not using. Send it in for someone else and save the planet at the same time. Remember a name can be covered.
Any school stationary will be greatly appreciated.
We will have a box outside the office for you to place this stationary in.
Thank you for supporting our Tongan cause!
