PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dear Parents

As you will be aware, Minister Chris Hipkins announced this afternoon that as of 11.59 pm tonight New Zealand will be moving into Orange on the COVID Protection Framework.

This is great news and is a sign that case numbers are on the decline. We do however continue to get a few new cases in our school each week. The systems we have in place have certainly helped in reducing the spread within our school.

Tomorrow is our last day for term one and we will be keeping our current procedures in place for this day. Over the break we will review the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education guidelines, for schools in Orange. We will send out the new school procedures for Orange, in Week 2 of the break.
