Nominations close this Wednesday, August 3rd, for the five parent elected positions on our School Board.

St Joseph’s School Takapuna would love to ensure that our Board is representative of our community. If you haven’t already, we encourage you to consider putting yourself (or someone you know) forward by Wednesday.  

There are no formal qualifications required for School Board members. Ideally the Board should be comprised of people who can work well in a team, possessing good communication skills. Other skills that would be beneficial include things such as an understanding of the education sector; financial experience; people management; or knowledge, experience and understanding of particular communities within our school.

Training and development opportunities will be available to all Board members through the New Zealand School Trustees Association (NZSTA).
