PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Kia ora koutou

This morning it was lovely to be able to welcome the new students and their families at school prayers. The school kapa haka did a lovely performance and this was followed by the children receiving their certificates along with the school blessing. The school then sang the children our welcome song.

We also welcomed Mrs Dela Cruz to the school. Mrs Dela Cruz began teaching this term in the new Year 0 class, HG 19.

We are delighted that Mrs Dela Cruz and all the new children have joined our community.

This weekend is Labour Weekend. Monday, 28th October is a public holiday. All schools in New Zealand are CLOSED on Monday, including ours. Please note –  sKids will not be open.

Next Wednesday, we have a digital safety presentation for parents. If you are interested in learning how you can support your children when they are on their devices at home, please come along. It is being held from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm in the school hall.

Here’s hoping you enjoy a lovely long weekend.
