PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dear Parents,

This afternoon the Kiwi team performed their Christmas Show, “Away in the Manger”. They were amazing! Lovely singing, all smiles and wonderful energy. Thank you to the children for their brilliant performance. Thank you to their teachers for all they have done to prepare the children for this amazing show.

Next week we look forward to wearing the school hat outside and Christmas headwear inside. With this being the final full week for the year it is an opportunity to celebrate the season. We continue to wear our full school uniform.

Talking of celebrating the season, the school will be heading over to Rosmini College on Monday to watch a Nativity play that is being put on by a group of their students. A lovely opportunity for the Kiwi team to be an audience, having been the performers

If you are intending to withdraw your children to go on holiday before our final school day, please inform your child’s teacher and the office, as well as recording the absence as ‘family holiday’ on the @schoolapp.

This is the time of year we ask parents to consider donating any unused school uniform items to the school. This allows new families to get their uniform requirements through the school.

Please do not bring food for children. We appreciate that individual families like to acknowledge this time of year with kai (food) for their child’s class. This is very generous, however, with many children having food allergies, we are unable to accept gifts of food, sweets, ice blocks etc.

If a homegroup is intending to have a meal as an end of year celebration, parents will be informed and they can organise foods that meet their child’s dietary requirements.

A reminder that our school year ends Wednesday, 18th December at 1:00pm
