PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Dear Parents
Thank you to the many parents and whanau who joined the children for ‘Sharing the Learning’. This is a wonderful way for you to see the progress your chold has made with their learning, through the term. It is also a great opportunity for your child to talk about their learning with you.
In Term 2 we will be having ‘Sharing the Learning’ in Week 9. You will also be receiving a progress report from your child’s teacher. This will be followed up with a parent teacher meeting at the beginning of Term 3. Through these three events you will learn about your child’s progress over the first half of the year and their next steps with learning.
Thank you to the families who joined us for our Stations of the Cross Liturgy.this afternoon. Ther children were wonderful in the way they performed their roles and they sang beautifully. A lovely time of prayer and reflection.
This week I have had parents letting me know that their children will be attending the Anzac Parade with me on behalf of the school community, which is wonderful. I have confirmed for them that the children are expected to wear the full correct school uniform, and if possible have an ANZAC poppy pinned to their jersey. Please check out the details below.
We wish you all a happy Easter and we look forward to welcoming the children on the first day of Term 2 on Tuesday 29 April.
