SCHOOL PHOTOS
Monday 30th November, we will be having photos for siblings and sports teams. Please ensure your children are in the correct school uniform.
ANGEL TREE CHRISTMAS GIFT GIVING
This year we are supporting the parish Angel Tree Christmas Gift Giving. If you feel as a family you could contribute new gifts in one of the following categories, please place them in the labelled baskets in the school office foyer:
- 4-8 Year Olds
- 9-13 Year Olds
- Teenagers
- Mothers or Fathers
Please do not wrap the presents. They will be wrapped by our Parish Youth Group.
ST VINCENT de PAUL
This morning at school prayers, Rob Danze from St Vincent de Paul thanked the students and their families for their generosity throughout the year.
“A HUGE thank you to the St Joseph School community for all of the food gathered and delivered to us earlier this week. With your donation of food, we have re-stocked our own food bank and were able to help De Paul House as they had put out a call for food to help their families in need. Since the start of Covid-19 lock downs this year, we have distributed over 100 food parcels from our St. Joseph’s conference. We simply would not be able to provide all the support we have provided without the help and support of our Parish’s School community.”

ROYAL COMMISSION
Next week, the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Historical Abuse in State Care and in Care of Faith-based Institutions will begin the two week Faith-based Redress Hearing.
The bishops and congregational leaders have requested that the churches and faith-based organisations be included in the Royal Commission Process. They did this in order for all to have this significant opportunity to acknowledge the past; listen and learn from the experiences of survivors; and participate in seeking justice, healing and reconciliation.
This is an important and significant process for all of us, but especially for survivors to be heard; and for their story and lasting impacts to be acknowledged.
Please keep the survivors and the members of the Royal Commission in your prayers.
