Week Four Term Two

We certainly had a little taste of winter this week and there was great excitement for some children finding frost at school!

More excitement came when a digger arrived at school to remove the grass in the centre of the quad area. This was followed by the arrival of  a load of bark, which Mr Kelly then cordoned off! Oh no!

All the lunch seats are now placed there to allow for more hard court for play, especially once the building starts.

Kereru Team had a marvellous day at Rangitoto having plenty of time to explore, learn about volcanoes and spending time on the rocky shore. Thank you to the parents who helped out.

I spent an interesting day at Interface Expo learning even more about what is available in the digital world in relation to education.

Teachers are working on preparing your child’s report. Conferences will be held on 19 and 26 June and bookings will soon be open.

Have a lovely weekend.
