Nadia, Conor, Marcus and Thomas, took part in the Auckland Catholic Schools’ Chess Championships – Beginners Grade. It was  the first time the children  had entered a competition using the clock system but they triumphed and came away with the Championship Trophy.   Nadia and Thomas also won first places in the individual competition .Thanks to Mrs Bon for organising the heats and to Mrs Sheridan for escorting the students to St Paul’s School Massey.
