School Hours

The information below is about our school hours.

Children should arrive in sufficient time to be organised for their school day.  Please let the school know if your child will be absent or late. If your child is sick please advise the type of sickness. Please report absences via the @school APP

Children leaving the school grounds must be accompanied by a parent or teacher, or have their caregiver’s written permission.

If they are collected through the day please sign your child out at the office.

Hometime Procedures

When the bell rings at 2.50 pm the children move quickly to the appropriate pick-up area (outside the Pompallier Learning Centre and outside the administration block), to bus lines, to the SKIDS pick-up area or go straight home with their parents. Parents arriving by car are required to either park safely and walk to collect their children or drive into the pick-up area and collect their child/children. For safety reasons the children are not permitted to move across the car park without an adult.

A teacher supervises the children who go home by bus and those who walk to Rosmini or cross at the lights at Taharoto Road. All the children assemble in front of the junior playground, outside the Pompallier Learning Centre, except for those who are picked up by their parents, they assemble inside the barriers on the driveway beside the Pompallier Learning Centre and the Administration Building.

All students should be offsite no later than 3.15 pm.
